Wonderful hunting. After a morning of shooting the hunters are ready for a big lunch.
Grasslake sits right in the middle of the Central North American Flyway. The Ducks and the Geese come into the Lake by the thousand. It makes for superb waterfowl hunting and we have scarcely ever had a hunter go home without his limit.
That low cloud is thousands of geese coming down the flyway and stopping over our lake.

We offer Rifle, Muzzleloader and Bowhunting in season. Our Deer stay in the shelter belts and sloughs and come out at early evening to feed during the night and early morning. There are always plenty of deer because we grow so much corn nearby and our beautiful South Dakota rolling terrain gives them a place to sleep and hide during the day.
This is one happy young man. Look at the size of his buck.
